Excellent location and hotel! The river view rooms are worth the extra. Beds were comfy but the best was the shower! Nice indoor pool and hot tub. Restaurant in casino was really good and something for everyone. Huckleberry everything is the best! Tip: if you want adjoining rooms, must do 2 queens and a king. Arcade area needs updating, so don't count on that for kiddos, but the pool makes up for it.

A great place for locals and visitors alike. The staff are always nice and they have great security personnel. Everything is kept well clean and orderly and it's a lot of fun to stay. Over all my times staying there I've never had a problem and everything has went off without a hitch. Great for vacations.

Excellent getaway! I went here recently on a bit of a staycation since it's only an hour and half away from CdA / Spokane. I wasn't completely sure what to expect as I hadn't been here in a few years and even then we didn't stay.

This time we stayed and found a clean room with calm quiet view of the river and surrounding mountains. Didn't hear other guests and the room was pretty good sized.

We got room service delivered, which was delicious and came in probably only like half an hour. Also, played in the Casino, lost it all of course but I expected too and it made for a fun time after dinner.

This place is super relaxing, convenient walkway under the highway next to lobby area takes you to Downtown Bonners Ferry. It's not huge but there is a visitors center and actually a few cool shops and restaurants that are worth a look.

All in all I highly recommend stopping off at the Kootenai River Inn. The casino is small but as a whole it's fun hidden gem in North Idaho.

I find the employees to be so helpful and friendly. They make you feel important and respected. Customer service seems to be becoming a lost art in our world today, but the employees at Kootenai River Inn have mastered it. I give it 5 stars just for that. The rooms are very nice, and along with The Springs restaurant offer a spectacular view of the river. If you want to get away and relax or just want to play a few games, I highly recommend going to the Kooenai River Inn.

Easy casino to move around in. 1 casino is smoking,the other 2 are smoke free. Slot tournaments on Tues & Thursday. There is a deli and and a restaurant inside and both are excellent. The deli has a yummy tuna sandwich and they make the tuna fresh right in front of you. The Springs restaurant has an amazing London Broil. It was so good that we ate it 2 days in a row!
Staff everywhere are friendly and the room are clean and roomy.
