In a busy public area, so driving and parking can get a little dicey for a first time visitor, especially with all the one way streets around. Parking is available at the property. Building seems a little older and rooms could be upgraded.

We had a great time at the Holiday Inn in San Jose. Everyone was extremely welcoming and friendly. I want to give a special shout out to Daniel the bar manager who opened the restaurant an hour early to accommodate us. We had just arrived at the hotel and were hungry and tired from our travels. We had a room on the 15th floor, the room itself was pretty standard but the views were amazing. Breakfast buffet was included in our reservation. Rice, beans, fruit, eggs and sausage were the usual. It was also very centrally located and less than a 10-15 minute walk to major sites in San Jose.

I highly recommend this wonderful hotel. Right in the heart of the city of San Jose, close to everything. But, it's the extraordinary service of all the staff that really makes the difference and sets this hotel apart.

Stayed here for business in 2017. Fantastic place, breakfasts were to die for. Nice area with a couple of bars and shops near by.

If I could give it 6 stars I would. This is an amazing property in an excellent location in Central San Jose. There is a lovely park across the street with lots of restaurants within walking distance. The staff at the hotel has been wonderful, going above and beyond for a few requests. I am super happy with my stay here
