RV Park was full of broken down RV's, mostly people living there, trash, broken down fences...really bad! The electrical tower gave our surge protector a message showing something wrong with the ground and a flashing red light, so we didn't use power. How can Gold Country even charge to stay here, much less $30/night? Total fail!!

Nice stop for the night on our way thru. Hotel, restaurant, casino all in one. Hotel was ok. Bathroom needed better cleaning. Restaurant was very good. Service was great. Casino was very clean. Staff was great.

OMG! From the moment I walked in, this place has been phenomenal! From the cleanliness of the room the helpfulness of the staff, everyone from front desk, the cooks, the bartender, maintenance, as well as housekeeping, they did an excellent job on everything. The restaurant has phenomenal food and if you've never eaten here you need to! Jr's is through the roof! I had a burger and some pie with ice cream, and I was in a food coma so much so my husband had to call the front desk to have security and management come knock on my door to check on me! Love it here! Will definitely be staying here every time I come through Elko. The rooms are so clean, and maintenance was on top of their game when I needed them to come out and fix something so minor, but they didn't immediately. Believe me when I say I will never say anywhere but here when I'm in Elko! Not to mention their front desk staff was so helpful in getting a room booked for me for an additional three nights when they were already so full! The pool is awesome, the billiards tables right there oh so great, not to mention if you want to do your laundry they have laundry services on site you can go and utilize for an extremely reasonable price to wash and dry! Gold country you definitely got my recommendation as well as my money every time I come in! Thank you so much for being so helpful, as well as so reasonably priced! And for those of you traveling with your RVs checking at the front desk they have an RV park in the back! If they have it all!

Room was nice and clean. There's a bar, casino and restaurant at the property. Ordered a philly cheese steak sandwich and it was probably the worst one I've ever had.

Needed a pet friendly hotel and was pleased to find that the fee here is $15 per accommodation versus per night like other hotels. Friendly check in staff and decent price on the rooms. Bathroom was not the greatest but overall ok.
