The Juneau Mendenhall Glacier Ice Adventure is a fantastic tour! Highly recommend! I was a little apprehensive before the tour because I am not the most coordinated or fit person, but our guides Ryan and Casey made the experience great for everyone. We were picked up in Juneau and shuttled out to Mendenhall Lake to be outfitted with all the requisite attire. They handed out rain pants, boots, and jackets before we got on the lake. The ~2.5 mile canoe out to the glacier was work, but definitely doable since everyone is rowing together. Once we arrived, they handed out micro-spikes to put on over our boots and we began walking around on the glacier. You definitely have to have good balance and an ability to walk on uneven ground, but I never felt rushed or worried because we took it at an easy pace. Both Ryan and Casey were extremely knowledgeable about animals and vegetation in the area and were able to answer any questions about the glacier and the surrounding area. They were fantastic leaders, they made sure no one felt alone or left behind, and as a bonus were funny and great photographers. It was an amazing and unforgettable experience.

We loves the wildlife and glacier tour! Melissa and Dylan (and the rest of the crew) were amazing! We saw whales, sea lions, birds, and the amazing glaciers! What a fun and cool experience!!
