Well planned covid-19 vaccination.
I arrived exactly at the suggested time and this well organized team processed and I was near vaccination tent right at my appointment time (10 minutes from arrival). I did not get out of the car, all done like assembly line. Everything was smooth, they ask to stay in the car for 15 min after the vaccination and timed it, after which they checked everything was OK before giving green signal to leave.

It's a great fairgrounds - way bigger than you think it is so you can get in tons of walking. There's an amazing historical horse track that still runs during the fair every year (minus covid times). Tons of events here - always lots of fun - prices are a little steep for basic food fare and beer but it is what it is at big grounds like this.

Pros: full hookups at site and level sites. Fairly quiet area. Fairly secure. Easy check-in process. RV parts store and propane sold.

Cons: sites are close together, such that we couldn't extend our awning without hitting the vehicle next to us. Most sites lack shade. No picnic tables, fire pits, etc.

Went there for the Covid Vaccine, and it was really easy to navigate! Their website made it seem like a hassle, but when I got their I was in and out within 25 minutes. Staff was super friendly and helped make the process as quick and simple as possible. Plus, they helped calm me down when I was about to get the vaccine(I don't like needles). Overall, a good experience!

I really enjoyed the nonstop fireworks on the 4th of July. They were extravagant! The orchestra playing in the background was nice too!(edited)
