I will start off with the food really is delicious! If you are dining in. I have tried at least 6 times in the past few months to order to go food and have successfully done it once!
First time: They took my order, told me it would be a half hour, I said Great! Showed up a half hour later and was told my order hadn't been started because folks came into the restaurant so my order was pushed back. (I have worked in a lot of restaurants and this was never how any restaurant I worked in treated a To Go order)
Second time: Friendly phone service, ordered chips (highly recommended) and mozzarella sticks, no issue.
Third and Forth time: No one ever answered the phone
Fifth time: someone answered, put me on hold, after ten minutes on hold I called back and was told they don't do To Go orders right now and call back later. (So we called The PIt Stop and ordered burgers from there, delicious and highly accommodating to To Go orders, ready in less than 20 minutes and the restaurant was PACKED)
Today: Actually went into the restaurant asked to do a To Go order. And was told NO! There were three tables that needed orders taken. I asked if I could at least get an order of chips (that I had promised my kiddos sitting in the car) and was told I couldn't cut in line. I am not asking to cut in line, just get in line! I was pretty upset at the level of service. So I left with nothing...again. (Called the Silver Spur to see about a To Go order and they were willing to do it and gave us a wait time, they had 3 times as many cars outside their establishment.)
At this point it isn't worth the disappointment of being told I can't order food again. So I guess I am done trying. They have good food. But they would probably make more money by actually selling it to people who want to order it, even if it is To Go.
